Software Technical Leader - .NET/C#, DevOps, Azure

Seeking elite Software Tech Leader with .NET/C# backend services and deep knowledge on DevOps methodologies. We're an AZURE shop.

Requirements: 

  • Code review responsibilities (responsible for other's code) and recent programming experienced. 
  • DevOps and Azure experienced.
  • Drive and lead tech projects.
  • Mentorship and coaching
  • eCommerce 

Hybrid working arrangement - 2-3 days onsite a week.

Location: Highland Park, IL area

Base Salary DOE.

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Software Technical Leader to guide our development team in building cutting-edge applications. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in .NET and C# while integrating DevOps practices and Azure cloud services to enhance our software development lifecycle and deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead software development projects, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Design and implement scalable and maintainable software solutions using C# and .NET technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver functional specifications.
  • Establish and promote coding standards, conduct code reviews, and provide mentorship to junior developers.
  • Oversee the implementation of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
  • Manage cloud resources on Azure, optimizing performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the architecture and design of systems, focusing on microservices and API development.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the development and production environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in software development using C# and .NET framework.
  • Strong understanding of Azure cloud services and DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies.
  • Familiarity with SQL databases and API development practices.
  • Proven track record of leading software projects and mentoring development teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
