Maintenance Technician ( Day and Overnight roles available)

  • Day shift starts at 6:30 am, Overnights start at 10pm ( 8-10 hours, depending on workload)
  • Direct hire, Perm role in a company/team with a great culture
  • This shift will also be eligible for an additional shift differential pay scale.

PLEASE NOTE - We also have an Overnight/3rd Shift Toolmaker/Tooling Maintenance role open if that is a better match.


 We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team for both a DAY and an OVERNIGHT shift, who will join the team in a HANDS ON troubleshooting/repair capacity, working to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and equipment by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks. 

This is a MULTICRAFT role, requiring a strong background in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting, with an emphasis on  BOTH electrical and mechanical systems repair, aiming for minimal downtime and maximum productivity for the plant.

 We have a highly specialized product and industry and we are a low volume, but high-mix manufacturing setting and a HUGE variety of equipment, Old and New, so a good mechanical/technical aptitude is a must, as is a strong mechanical/manufacturing aptitude with  the ability to learn what you don't know, and a willingness to do so.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tooling repair and maintenance, with a focus on precision and quality and a 'GET IT DONE' attitude that will help you grown and help the team get products out the door!

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular maintenance and inspection of machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Repair and service CNC machinery, stamping equipment, other metals processing and fabrication tools and systems, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct electrical repairs and maintain industrial control systems.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve maintenance processes and reduce downtime.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and repair.
  • Experience with mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
  • Familiarity with CNC machinery and repair processes.
  • Proficient in industrial controls and PLC controls.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications in maintenance or industrial mechanics are a plus.
