CAD Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CAD Manager to oversee our Computer-Aided Design (CAD) operations. The ideal candidate will lead a team of designers and engineers in producing high-quality design documents and models for various projects, including land development and infrastructure. This role requires a strong background in engineering principles and project management, with a focus on ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate CAD operations and personnel within the engineering department
Oversee the production of CAD drawings and models, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications
Implement and maintain CAD standards and best practices
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to streamline project workflow
Provide training and support for team members on CAD software and design techniques
Conduct quality control reviews of CAD deliverables to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
Stay updated on the latest CAD technologies and tools to improve efficiency
Participate in project planning and development, including site design, grading, and drainage analysis

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
3+ years of experience in CAD management or a similar role
Proficient in Civil 3D and other relevant CAD software
Strong knowledge of site design, grading, drainage, and land development principles
Experience with surveying and infrastructure design
Understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
Project management experience with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
Familiarity with GIS, 3D modeling, and construction documentation
Excellent communication and leadership skills
