Position Overview:We are seeking a highly experienced Tax Director/Principal with a strong background in tax management and generalist knowledge. The ideal candidate will be a CPA with a proven track record in providing exceptional tax planning and compliance services. This position will be a hybrid role, combining the responsibilities of a Tax Director and Principal, and will have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement tax strategies for clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations- Oversee tax planning and compliance for a variety of clients, including individuals, corporations, and partnerships- Advise clients on tax-related issues and potential risks- Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, including Tax Managers and Generalists- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, and provide guidance to clients and team members as needed- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and legal, to provide comprehensive solutions for clients- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and serve as their primary tax advisorQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred- 8+ years of experience in tax management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role- Extensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with a focus on individual, corporate, and partnership taxation- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to manage and mentor a team effectively- Proven track record of delivering exceptional tax planning and compliance services- Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment- Experience working with diverse clients and industries is a plus.
