Your talents and leadership attitude will provide analog electrical design solutions and technical support to novel and challenging projects of varying size throughout their life cycle stages.

In this key role, you will use your experience will work with development of complex high reliability electrical designs in support of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions on a variety of platforms. These platforms present unique design challenges operating over the harsh environments of space including extreme EMI environments, total dose induced radiation parametric degradation effects, single event effects associated with high energy space born particles, space charging of surfaces and electro-static discharge events.
-Review and evaluation of customer requirement documents
-Demonstrated ability to follow a methodical and structured approach to design and validation
-Original electrical design, electro-optical instrument design
-Complex analog design including simulation, system/component modeling, signal integrity analysis, component & system level power/stress analysis, servo performance and stability analysis.
-Worst case circuit performance/functional analysis over mission life & environment extremes
-Analog design of deliverable ship set hardware and internal Special Test Equipment
-Validation testing support
-Work with program teams to develop design concepts, define and perform trades
You will fully engage and be involved in advanced experience with electro-optical products which is highly desirable as well as an ability to quickly engage and develop an advanced technical understanding of unique electro-optical instruments.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering required with a MS preferred
Required Experience:
-Minimum of 11++ years of experience as an analog electrical engineer on space programs
-Demonstrated lead electrical design capability & experience
-Conceptual original design experience
-Experience writing/deriving requirements and generating verification plans
-Experience writing technical reports and generating technical presentations
-Experience in high reliability space, DoD airborne & ground systems, mission analysis, and government military program contracts preferred
-Focal plane experience and familiarity with quad cells, CCDs, photodiodes, lasers, etc. desired
-Power electronics and motor drive design/analysis experience is a plus
-Familiarity using DOORS requirements management tool and following a rigorous requirements documentation and validation process desired
-Provide high reliability designs and lead electrical engineering support for critical flight mission and ground validation and test activity.
You should be able to demonstrate strong analog design skills as related to both the support of legacy products and development of new designs. In addition, you should have a proven track record of advanced troubleshooting ability at the system level as well as lower levels of integration.
-General familiarity with optical metrology technologies and techniques as related to electrical design applications and applied use of standard electrical engineering analysis and documentation software (i.e. PSPICE, Hyperlynx, Matlab, Mathcad, Orcad, Allegro, Visio and CreoView)
You should demonstrate strong analog design skills as related to both the support of legacy products and development of new designs.
