Position Overview
The Import/Export Manager is responsible for ensuring that all import and export activities comply with applicable laws and regulations. This role focuses on developing and implementing compliance strategies and overseeing the logistics of international trade operations. Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance, as well assisting with day to day imports/exports and commodity classification will also be key responsibilities in this role.
Ideal candidates will possess extensive experience working in a Distribution setting, with a strong background in international customs compliance, freight forwarding, vendor negotiation. Prior exposure to the retail space is preferred. This position will be critical in overseeing logistics for the company at our main distribution center. Versatility, high level of communication, and ability to work in fast-paced, high production volume sites will be critical for success in this role.
