Position Overview
We're a manufacturing companies that has between 40 and 50 employees spread throughout the USA. This is going to be a department of one for the foreseeable future so we need someone who has the motivation and skill set to handle both the admin and high level that comes with HR. Someone who can interface with the executive team that also directly handles onboarding, vendors (payroll, 401K) as well as disability claims and payroll.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including OSHA and disability regulations
Administer employee benefits programs, including 401K plans and payroll processes
Foster a positive workplace culture and resolve employee conflicts
Monitor and report on HR metrics and trends to guide decision-making

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role
In-depth knowledge of labor laws and compliance regulations
Experience with employee benefits and payroll management
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
