Help define scope(s) for Electric Controls projects.
Develop internal budget/ proposals with Business Development Team for Controls projects.
Manage (and build) vendor resources and oversee deliverable of controls work provided by us and partner firms to our clients.
Participating in Management conversations about how to self-execute in this area, review of potential acquisitions for.
Provide technical leadership as needed, oversee all Controls activities.
Perform other duties as required/assigned.
What You Need for this Position:
College Degree not required but preferred
5+ Years related experience (or equivalent combination of education + experience) preferred.
Experience as a Team Lead or Department Supervisor
Knowledge of industry (food/bev), market and USDA & FDA Guidelines preferred, not immediately required.
Proficient with Allen Bradley PLCs, (Siemens helpful) programming and applications of related equipment and systems.
AutoCAD, potentially other Engineering software packages.
Internet Software and Microsoft Office Platform: Word, Excel, Project and Outlook
Teamwork Skills: Listening, Approachable, Questioning, Helpful, Participating, Excellent Communication Skills: Verbal and Written. Strong Interpersonal Skills: Professional, Respectful, Positive, Outgoing, Enthusiastic
Knowledge and Execution of Sound Business Practices
Ability to travel domestically 25 % of the year, mostly within Midwest and some east coast. Ability to commute to one of the office locations (Sun Prairie or Amherst WI as needed)
Valid US Driver's License
Able to travel outside the US per project needs (none scheduled currently)

Work Conditions and Physical Demands:
Overtime may be required as workload or project dictates. This may include nights, weekends and/or holidays.
Be physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, meetings and make site visits as required.
Job will generally be performed in office environment, sometimes requires travel to client's office, production facility or industrial/construction job site. Conditions will vary at each location.
May be assigned to work at client's office, facility or site for extended time. Specific terms will be discussed prior to scheduling. When performing outside our office, appropriate safety training and equipment will be provided.
While performing duties of this position, you may be required to occasionally stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls.
Noise level will vary in each location; however, noise level is usually loud in production facilities and industrial/construction sites.
