Cleanroom Process Engineer - Semiconductor

Position Overview
Based in North San Diego, we are seeking a skilled Cleanroom Process Engineer to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the efficiency and compliance of cleanroom processes within our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in process engineering to improve contamination control, validate equipment, and maintain adherence to ISO standards and GMP regulations. We are an exciting startup in the semiconductor world, and this is a great growth role.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize cleanroom processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and GMP regulations in all cleanroom activities.
Conduct contamination control assessments and implement strategies to mitigate risks.
Validate cleanroom equipment and processes to ensure they meet operational and regulatory standards.
Implement sterilization techniques and oversee their effectiveness in cleanroom environments.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure product integrity and compliance.
Perform risk assessments and root cause analysis to identify and resolve process-related issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
1-2+ years proven experience in process engineering WITHIN a cleanroom environment.
Strong knowledge of ISO standards and GMP regulations.
Experience in contamination control and equipment validation techniques.
Familiarity with sterilization techniques and quality assurance processes.
Ability to conduct risk assessments and root cause analysis effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
