We are a well-established, mid-sized business law firm with a deep-rooted presence in San Diego, seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our growing team. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2-8 years of litigation experience, including but not limited to general/civil litigation, general liability, personal injury, labor and employment, commercial, and real estate litigation.
As a Litigation Attorney, you will have the opportunity to work directly with business-owner clients on a diverse range of matters. This position offers significant responsibility, hands-on client interaction, and the chance to build valuable client relationships in a way that's often unavailable at larger firms.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and handle cases from inception to resolution, with significant primary case-handling responsibilities.
Provide strong analytical, research, and writing skills to support complex litigation.
Maintain an efficient, organized, and productive workflow while prioritizing competing tasks.
Collaborate with a collegial team in a fast-paced environment to deliver exceptional client service.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, including exposure to civil litigation, general liability, personal injury, labor and employment, commercial, or real estate matters.
Demonstrated experience handling cases with a high level of independence and responsibility.
Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
Highly organized and motivated, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Graduates from top-tier law schools or those with judicial clerkship experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
This position is located in our downtown San Diego office, with remote and flexible work arrangements available. Compensation:
Base salary range: $145,000 - $180,000, depending on experience.
Bonus structure:
Productivity Bonus: Earn bonuses based on billable hours, with the potential for unlimited bonuses (up to 35% of average associate rates).
Generation Bonus: 10% of fees from matters you originate.
Merit Bonus: Additional performance-based bonus for meeting firm standards and contributing to firm success.
